When you try to install a Kaspersky Lab product, then the following error may appear: "Incompatible software: 360 Safety Guard".



The possible problem are as below:
- 360 safety guard is rogue Anti-virus that block Kaspersky installation.
- Online streaming P2P china software.
- 360 china anti-virus

To solve this issue, you may perform the steps below:
Please check whether you have installed 360 china Anti-virus and uninstall it from control panel.

If still can't install Kaspersky Lab product, perform the manual removal steps:
1) Stop SafetyGuard Processes:

To stop SafetyGuard processes:
  1. Click the Start menu, select Run.
  2. Type taskmgr.exe into the the Run command box, and click "OK." You can also launch the Task Manager by pressing keys CTRL + Shift + ESC.
  3. Click Processes tab, and find SafetyGuard processes.
  4. Once you've found the SafetyGuard processes, right-click them and select "End Process" to kill SafetyGuard.
2) Remove SafetyGuard Files and Folders:

   SafetyGuard.lnk 1
   SafetyGuard.lnk 2
   Homepage.lnk 3
   Uninstall.lnk
   uninstall.exe
   %CommonPrograms%\SafetyGuard\
   %ProgramFiles%\SafetyGuard Software\SafetyGuard


To delete Safety Guard files in Windows XP and Vista/7:
  1. Click your Windows Start menu, and then click "Search."
  2. A speech bubble will pop up asking you, "What do you want to search for?" Click "All files and folders."
  3. Type a SafetyGuard file in the search box, and select "Local Hard Drives."
  4. Click "Search." Once the file is found, delete it.

3) Remove SafetyGuard Registry Keys:

To remove SafetyGuard registry keys:

  1. Select your Windows menu "Start," and click "Run."
  2. Type in "regedit" and click "OK" to open up your Registry Editor. [If Windows Vista/7, type in "regedit" in start search]
  3. Double click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folder
  4. Double click on SOFTWARE folder
  5. Find 360 Safety Guard or Safety Guard, Right click on the folder and select Delete


Close the windows, restart computer and install Kaspersky.
